Keema Children’s Foundation held its first ever camp on our Little Stars Kid’s Camp Program on the weekend. A lot of fun was had by all. We had ponies, Delta Dogs, a petting zoo, Build A Bear, singing, and a whole raft of other fun activities for our Little Stars to enjoy. Little Stars Kid’s Camp is a free program for children aged 3–6 who are living in foster care. Through this program we aim to bring fun, laughter, and hope into the lives of the children who attend. Our first camp was a huge success with many of our campers wanting to “come back tomorrow!”. All campers took home a gorgeous case, toiletries bag, and library bag from Yay Me!, a hand–made quilt from Project Linus, and other goodies such as books and toys from Keema Children’s Foundation.
