We have been busily packing hundreds of Cuddle Cases and Teen Bags for distribution to children entering foster care. Many of the contents of our bags are donated and we thank our donors for your invaluable contributions of hundreds of teddy bears, toothbrushes and toothpaste, lunch boxes and personal items.
GIVIT
A special message from one of our Givit donors:
I dropped off the bears this morning. Just a little background on 2 of them. The Sheriff one is from Calico California USA and the Harrods bear came from London so they are much travelled and loved. As I am now 76 and they have been sitting in the cupboard for most of their existence and my 3 grandchildren are all adults it’s time to pass them on to someone else who will love them. They have never been played with.
PROJECT LINUS
We are also very lucky to receive donations of hundreds of handmade quilts from Project Linus. We also receive individual financial donations through social media and our website which are invaluable in enabling us to provide the support the children need at a very traumatic time.
DELIVERY OF OUR CUDDLE CASES
On 15 October 2019, we delivered many of our Cuddle Cases to Churches of Christ Foster Agency.
On 22 October 2019, we delivered more Cuddle Cases to Foundations Care.
